Arousal to Orgasm ... BACK

A woman's orgasm is as mysterious today as ever was. Women experience orgasm in different ways. Unfortunately many women experience trouble reaching orgasm consistently. Faking an orgasm to make him feel good only makes the problem worse. One of the best ways for women to become orgasmic is practicing conscious masturbation.

Once a woman achieves orgasm then there is no stopping her. She is capable of having a blissful succession of orgasms. Can a man have multiple orgasms? Some were self-taught to achieve multiple orgasms. Techniques for learning multiple orgasm can be found in some books. The goal is not to have multiple orgasms, but enjoy sex for a prolonged period of time. Even one orgasm can achieve that.

The Woman's journey to Orgasm.....Arousal goes through a fairly well defined course:

1) Initial arousal and sexual interest is stirred then the pulse increases, with an increase of blood flow to the sexual organs.

2) After fore play, the labia swell and they open up.

3) Sexual fluids then start to flow, from glands in the vaginal walls and also around the opening of the vagina.

4) The nipples start to swell, often up to 1cm, in length and diameter.

5) The inner vulva changes colour becoming a darker red.

At this stage a woman is ready for intercourse, (if she is with a man!).

The Orgasm itself is of course a deeply personal experience, however according to three distinct phases can be seen:

Firstly, the woman after sexual stimulation for some period of time, will have a sense of ending, this is just before the final push onto the climax itself, rather like a pause for a deep breath.... This is accompanied by an experience of intense sensual awareness, usually focused on the clitoris, radiating into the inner most parts of her sexual organs, the actual moment of climax will be experienced differently for all women, and according to the type of stimulation leading to the climax at the moment of climax many women also do 'ejaculate' a small amount of extra sex fluid.

The second phase has been described a suffusion of warmth, spreading throughout the lower part of body and on into her whole body.

The third phase is often described as the most pleasurable, is the feeling of deep feeling of wonderful throbbing, a repeated feeling of contractions around their vagina.

Meanwhile other things will also be happening... As a woman reaches her climax she will look like she is in a mixture of pleasure and pain, her body will usually go into a spasm, her toes will curl up... ( a good indication that orgasm is occurring!), the muscles around her anus will spasm, and her nipples appear to stand out even more as the orgasm subsides, this is because her breast will return to normal size more quickly than her nipple, making them stand out even more.

Multiple orgasms....

Do not let loves finest pleasures and propitious moments pass unheeded.

The adult male journey towards orgasm, is much more focused on his penis rather than the woman's is on her clitoris, women can reach orgasm in a multitude of ways whereas a man reaches orgasm only through stimulation of his penis. The exception is teenagers wet dreams in sleep and teenage loss of control in petting situations! However in these situations it is highly likely that the penis will still have been stimulated.

The first stage is when the man becomes sexually excited, his penis becomes erect, his heart rate increases.

The second phase is a plateau phase in which the man reaches a high level of arousal and yet is still some way of orgasm, skilled lovers can maintain this phase for long periods of time, over half an hour is common, and much longer, this time is used to delight in the art of the sexual encounter. If this is too short a time there are techniques to lengthen it by gripping the shaft of the penis, tightly before moving to the climax stage. the penis is held tightly just behind the glans. Of course as techniques go, the key is to change your focus, slow down before this stage and enjoy your partner. both partners can be supportive in this.

The third stage is his climax, good lovers with practice can bring themselves to this point time and again before letting themselves go on through to the climax. The physical aspects of the orgasm areas follows.

The seminal sex fluid quickly fills the lower part of the urethral tube, now the orgasm must happen, nothing can stop it, there is a gush of sex fluids from the prostate and nearby glands, this overwhelms the tubes which swell and then pump out the fluid, which then surges out of the end of the penis.

Only about 5mls of fluid is discharged in this way, and it can travel anything from not far, and up to 1 metre away!! the normal is a few centremetres.

After the orgasm a mans penis may be very sensitive, there is then a quiet phase where the penis returns to the flaccid stage, it is not possible to return the penis to an erect state. Depending on the level of arousal and the mans age there needs to be a recovery time, before a man can reach orgasm again.
